JOB DESCRIPTION:
CS Vertical Flight Solutions (CSV) a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) is seekings seeking dedicated Aircraft Washers to join our team in support of the F-16C Aircraft Wash, Cleaning & Lubrication Program at Homestead Air Reserve Base.
The Aircraft Washer performs exterior wash operations, lubrication tasks, corrosion control support, and postwash documentation in accordance with
Air Force Technical Orders (TOs) and environmental requirements.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform exterior wash of F-16C aircraft using approved
detergents, equipment, PPE, and wastewater containment systems
Apply lubrication to required points per TO 1 F-16-2-X series
Identify and report corrosion discrepancies
Follow all safety, PPE, and equipment handling procedures
Comply with environmental regulations and wastewater
containment rules
Assist with AFTO 781 entries and maintenance system updates
Work as part of a 3-person wash team to meet USAF timelines and quality standards
Qualifications:
Prior aircraft wash experience preferred (military or commercial)
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on stands/ladders
Ability to work outdoors in heat/humidity typical of South Florida
Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain base access
Must pass background check for Homestead ARB
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience washing fighter aircraft
(F-16, F-15, F-18)
Prior military aviation maintenance
experience
Familiarity with IMDS or similar maintenance documentation systems
OSHA 10 or equivalent safety training
